The pavilion is stunning with panoramic views and luxury features. We could have comfortably stayed longer as the pavilion is incredibly well equipped. We loved the location, star gazing and exploring the area.

This place is pure magic.  The view is spectacular. And "getting away from it all" (the city), the comfortable accommodation with modern amenities, the thoughtful hosts, all made our honeymoon unforgettable.

The pavilion is beautiful, not to mention the amazing harbour views. We loved cooking our burgers on the bbq, eating outside around the firepit. And soaking in the outdoor bath! It was all 10/10 for us.

So beautifully still & quiet with no interruptions. We especially enjoyed the delicious local Kerikeri wine and the cheese platter we ordered — such a treat! The thick, fluffy robes and the outdoor bath under the Northland stars were pure luxury and made for an incredible, relaxing experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special and memorable quiet escape.

Kūkupa Pavilion is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, has a very comfortable bed and a super shower inside as well as an outside tub. The floor to ceiling windows in the lounge and bedroom give magnificent views of the Hokianga Harbour and the chance to just sit and watch the kūkupa (the Northland name for kerurū/native pigeons) soaring and diving just outside. Highly recommended.
